Publication Ethics

Aathiyoga follows the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects authors, reviewers and editors to do the same.

Authors

  • Submit only original work that has not been published and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Cite all sources. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is not accepted.
  • List as authors everyone who contributed substantially to the work, and only them.
  • Declare funding and any conflict of interest.
  • Tell the editor at once about any error found in a published article.

Reviewers

  • Keep manuscripts confidential and do not use their content.
  • Review objectively and on time, and declare any conflict of interest.

Editors

  • Judge manuscripts on their merit alone, without regard to the authors’ identity, institution or beliefs.
  • Keep the review confidential and handle complaints, corrections and retractions promptly, following COPE’s guidance.
