Checklist
- Manuscript in Word (.doc or .docx), up to 8,000 words, with a 150–200 word English abstract and 4–6 keywords.
- Author names and affiliations on a separate title page only.
- Ethics approval and consent statement for research with human participants.
- APA (7th edition) references.
- Signed copyright and licence form.
Send your manuscript
Email the .docx manuscript and the signed author declaration to the editorial office. Use the paper title as the email subject.
Registered authors can also submit through the journal platform: online submission.

From submission to publication
Submission
Send the manuscript (.doc/.docx) with the signed copyright and licence form, by email or through the journal platform.
Editorial screening
Editors check scope, structure, ethics approval and similarity. Papers that fail are returned with reasons.
Double-blind review
At least two subject experts review the anonymised manuscript and recommend accept, revise or reject.
Revision
Authors respond point by point to the reviewers; revised papers go back to the same reviewers.
Acceptance & copy-edit
Accepted papers are copy-edited and typeset. The corresponding author approves the final proof.
Publication
The article is published open access with a DOI in the next available issue.

Articles are accepted in English or Tamil. The title, abstract and keywords must always be given in English.
No. There is no submission fee, article processing charge or page charge. The journal is funded by NGM College.
Authors keep copyright. They grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish, and the article is released under CC BY 4.0.

Yes, before peer review starts, by writing to the editor. After review has begun or the paper is accepted, withdrawal needs a written reason and the editor’s approval. Published articles are not withdrawn; they can only be corrected or retracted under the ethics policy.
