Aims
The Aathiyoga Indian Journal of Ancient Medicine and Yoga aims to provide a rigorous, fee-free and openly accessible venue for research on Yoga and the ancient Indian systems of medicine and human excellence, and to encourage researchers to evaluate traditional practices with sound methods measured against clear objectives.
The journal seeks to connect experimental, clinical and textual scholarship, to support early-career and established researchers alike, and to make well-reviewed research from India and elsewhere visible to a global readership. Yogic science receives particular emphasis.
Scope
AIJAMAY welcomes literary and empirical studies in the following areas:

- Yoga therapy and lifestyle medicine – clinical and community studies of Yoga for prevention, rehabilitation and the management of lifestyle diseases
- Ayurveda, Siddha and other ancient Indian systems of medicine – principles, diagnosis, regimens and formulations, and their evaluation
- Complementary and integrative therapies – naturopathy, diet, acupressure and other therapies used alongside conventional care
- Philosophy and classical texts – the Yoga Sutras, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Tamil Siddha literature and other sources: textual, historical and comparative studies
