What we collect

Authors: names, e-mail addresses, affiliations, ORCID iDs, country, and the manuscript and messages sent through the submission form. Reviewers: name, e-mail address, affiliation, subject expertise and the review reports written. Readers and visitors: only what a browser sends to any website (such as the IP address and pages visited) and what is typed into the contact, reviewer, request or alert forms.

Why we collect it

Personal data is used only for the editorial and publishing purposes of AIJAMAY: to receive and review manuscripts, to correspond with authors and reviewers, to publish articles with their metadata, to issue certificates, to send the alerts you asked for and to answer questions. The names and e-mail addresses entered on this website are not made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

What is public

For a published article the authors’ names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, the abstract, references and the dates of the review process are public. They are also sent to Crossref (for the DOI) and to indexing and discovery services as open metadata. E-mail addresses are shown only for the corresponding author. Reviewers’ identities stay confidential in the double-blind process.

Who sees it

Submission records are visible to the editors who handle the manuscript and to the journal’s technical staff. Form messages are stored on this website and e-mailed to the editorial office. Nothing is sold, rented or passed on to advertisers. Information is released only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Submission records are kept for as long as the journal archive exists, so that editorial decisions can be explained and ethics questions answered. Form messages are kept for as long as needed to reply and to record the outcome; alert sign-ups until you unsubscribe.

Cookies and other services

The website uses the cookies it needs to work, for example to keep editors and authors signed in and to protect forms against spam. The map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies under its own policy.

Your choices

You may ask to see, correct or – where it is not part of a published article or an editorial record – remove the personal data we hold about you. Write to editor@aathiyoga.in from the address concerned. Published metadata can be corrected through a correction request.
