The Indian Journal of Ancient Medicine and Yoga (IJAMAY) operates under an open-access model and does not receive any funding from external sources. Consequently, we rely on fees for various services charged to researchers and authors who wish to publish their work in our journal. Below are the details regarding the fees and payment methods.

Fee Structure

Research Paper Publication Fees:

Number of Authors Indian Authors Non-Indian Authors
1 to 4 Authors ₹ 1000 + 18% GST US $50
5 or More Authors ₹ 300 for each additional author US $10 for each additional author

Please note that as of April 1, 2024, IJAMAY’s publisher, the Department of Human Excellence at NGM College, will begin charging an 18% GST on fees collected from authors in compliance with the Government of India’s regulations. This tax will be added to the prices listed on our website and collected from authors before being remitted to the government.

What the Publication Fee Covers:

  • Formatting and editing of the submitted research content
  • Permanent online publication of the research article, regardless of page count and digital file size
  • A digital certificate (e-certificate) of publication
  • Submission of the research to various indexing services
  • Coverage of related administrative expenses
  • Comprehensive support throughout the publication process via multiple channels
  • Assignment of a Zenodo DOI for the published paper
