At Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College, the Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Centenary Library stands as a beacon of academic excellence and intellectual empowerment. Established in commemoration of the centenary birth anniversary of the esteemed Bharat Ratna Chakravarthi Subramaniam, a champion of education and rural development, this flagship library—along with our 30 vibrant departmental libraries—forms the intellectual heart of our institution.
For over six decades, our college has been committed to nurturing minds, advancing research, and transforming lives. Since our inception on July 12, 1957, under the visionary leadership of Shri S.P. Nallamuthu Gounder and Dr. N. Mahalingam through the Pollachi Kalvi Kazhagam, we have evolved from a Pre-University College into a premier autonomous Postgraduate Teaching and Research Institution.
