Who we are

The Aathiyoga Indian Journal of Ancient Medicine and Yoga brings together research on Yoga and the ancient Indian sciences of health and human excellence. It publishes literary and empirical studies – experimental, clinical, survey-based, textual and conceptual – on Yogic science, Ayurveda and complementary therapies, and on the philosophy, psychology, education and management of well-being, with particular emphasis on Yogic science.

The journal gives scholars, teachers and practitioners a platform to share their findings, encourages researchers to evaluate traditional practices with sound methods measured against clear objectives, and makes the results freely available to readers worldwide.

AIJAMAY is edited by academic staff of the Department of Human Excellence, Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College, supported by an international reviewer board. All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence.
