How to prepare your manuscript for Aathiyoga. Following these guidelines speeds up review and publication.

Manuscripts may be written in English or Tamil. The title, abstract and keywords must always be given in English (and in Tamil too for Tamil articles). Please type Tamil in a Unicode font; text in older fonts such as Bamini or TSCII is converted to Unicode by the submission system, but please check the preview.
கட்டுரைகளை ஆங்கிலத்திலோ தமிழிலோ எழுதலாம். தலைப்பு, ஆய்வுச் சுருக்கம், திறவுச் சொற்கள் எப்போதும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் தரப்பட வேண்டும் (தமிழ்க் கட்டுரைகளுக்குத் தமிழிலும்). தமிழை ஒருங்குறி (Unicode) எழுத்துருவில் தட்டச்சு செய்யுங்கள்; பாமினி, TSCII போன்ற பழைய எழுத்துருக்களில் உள்ள உரையைச் சமர்ப்பிப்பு அமைப்பு ஒருங்குறிக்கு மாற்றும் – ஆனால் முன்னோட்டத்தைச் சரிபாருங்கள்.
Remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements and self-identifying references from the main manuscript, and clear the author name from the file properties. Cite your own earlier work in the third person.
முதன்மைக் கட்டுரையிலிருந்து பெயர்கள், பணியிடங்கள், நன்றியுரை, உங்களை அடையாளம் காட்டும் மேற்கோள்களை நீக்குங்கள்; கோப்பின் பண்புகளிலிருந்தும் ஆசிரியர் பெயரை நீக்குங்கள். உங்கள் முந்தைய ஆய்வுகளைப் படர்க்கையில் சுட்டுங்கள்.
Clinical and intervention studies must report approval from an institutional ethics committee (with approval number and date) and informed consent. Clinical trials should be registered, for example with the Clinical Trials Registry – India (CTRI), and reported following a relevant guideline such as CONSORT. Read the ethics approval and consent policy and the publication ethics statement.

Authors keep the copyright and grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish. Articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). After acceptance, the corresponding author signs the copyright and licence agreement online from the manuscript tracking page. See Copyright and licensing.

Before peer review starts, authors may withdraw a manuscript by writing to the editor. After review has started, or once the paper is accepted, withdrawal needs a written reason and the editor’s approval. Published articles are not withdrawn; they may be corrected or retracted under the corrections and retractions policy.

There is no submission fee. After acceptance, an article processing charge (APC) of ₹1,000 is payable from the manuscript tracking page, by UPI or bank transfer. There are no page or colour charges, and authors who cannot pay may ask for a waiver. See Publication fees.
